We are inspired by early portrait photography. People taken out of their everyday environments, depicted and documented in diffuse light. With no complicated camera angles and no is the central focus of our work and the camera acts as mirror onto the soul. The direct confrontation of the model and the camera creates a build-up of tension. This is the documentation part. Everything brought in from the outside: stylists, make-up and sets intercept reality and fiction. The impulse of our work is the model and the detail. We are fascinated by the sitter and our aim is that he / she remains the authentic focus of our production.
