Il n’est sans doute pas un hasard si Namiko vient d’un pays où l’on conçoit l’harmonie comme le mariage parfait entre deux forces opposées. Née à Tokyo en 1977, Namiko part à vingt ans en Europe. De Londres à Milan, elle étudie la peinture, la photographie, reçoit une solide formation en Histoire de l’Art, en sémiologie, en analyse de l’image. En 2003, elle est reçue à la Fabrica, factory wharolienne créée par Olivero Toscani. De naissance orientale, de culture occidentale ; Cérébrale dans sa démarche, instinctive lors de la prise de vue ; Namiko est une contemplative qui nous livre son monde en image.
It is absolutely no mistake that Namiko comes from a country where we think of harmony like the perfect marriage between two opposite forces. Born in Tokyo in 1977, Namiko left for Europe at the age of twenty. From London to Milan, she studied painting, photography, received a solid education in History of Art, semiotics and image analysis. In 2003, she was accepted at Fabrica, a warholian factory created by Olivero Toscani. From oriental origins and western culture; cerebral in her approach, instinctive in her way of taking pictures, Namiko is a thinker who reveals her world to us through images.
